And a really good book. I took it into the hands of just graduated from A. Šlepikas Marytė read, and, to the detriment of the latter, it was impossible not to notice these two books stylistic difference. Here is just a short excerpt from the first page:

Soviet time here coincides with a European Ukraine (or at least its rudiments), creating some sort of a strange mass of people, and you recognize that in our society.
And what about the book? About not living in Kiev held writer Victor handpresso Zolotarev. One day he gets a lucrative offer - even writing obituaries for live public figures to one of the newspapers. Soon, people handpresso begin to describe his death, and the main character gets involved in the game, which no control.
The death of the book constantly lurking around the corner. But it provides otherwise. Here Viktor influential people are invited to the funeral. Not for him, of course, but because of a penguin, penguin because of having a funeral is a stylish (naturally black and white, as not to invite?). And though it turns out later, and other causes of such behavior, this small, seemingly absurd detail like no other taunts in a modern fashion chasing.
Probably the most interesting (and strangest) and the fact that the main character in the book almost the entire book is a passive observer. handpresso Around it boils action in his life constantly invades not sought people with their proposals and requirements, while Victor too much and does not solve anything. Rating: 10/10. For style, whose jealous. For the placement of the original storyline (not far from everything remains disclosed, but is it necessary?) For a penguin. And anyway - because I can not find even wishing to stick things.
Recommendation: The book is everything, so strongly recommend - and those who want an easy snappy handpresso reading, and those who want it this deep. Because the book is beyond the surface of the big questions - they are moving out himself. For others it may cause only grin, but a lot of it already.
