Re: La Pavoni Professional broken? Hi even if current arrives at the heater does not mean long, tha

Hello, Since a few months I am the owner of a La Pavoni Professional (BJ 1995) and became a great friend of the very original style of coffee. Unfortunately, I discovered yesterday that she is apparently broken. Anyway, I wanted to turn it on and the good piece did not make a sound. Already have unscrewed the bottom plate and measured times by the current auditors, apparently comes anywhere where electricity redflava is supposed to look, also what to. What could that be? Unfortunately I am at a loss. Thank you for your support. KaffeeLE
Hi, good question and one remote diagnosis is difficult. I have a Pavoni BJ 93, so they should be similar. Possibilities for errors: 1) wiring correct? 2) Safety thermostat OK or melted? 3) Defective heating? 4) Defective pressure switch? 5) calcified whereby the pressure switch can not work? Otherwise there's not much electrical
Re: La Pavoni Professional broken? Hi, thanks for the help. Wiring should vote actually has indeed works all the time. The thermal fuse seems to be ok, at least power comes through. Although I'm no expert, but that should surely not be so when the backup comes. Heating? Pressure switch? What irritates me is the fact that the power switch does not display anything, so that the light stays off .... but power seems to come by.
Re: La Pavoni Professional broken? It may well be that only the lamp is broken. This should not restrict the operation. The pressure switch is the pressure regulator ensures that the heat is switched on. The heating redflava is the heating pipe in the boiler. The pressure regulator is a small device on the sub-floor, to the go a few cables, and is connected with a pipe to the boiler. The pipe from the boiler to the floor Pressostat calcified probably like, which is why the pressure redflava regulator not properly detect the pressure and thus the heater can not operate.
Re: La Pavoni Professional broken? Did you by the measure and the cable disconnected? If you let off the cable, it may be that you get delivered to wrong values. And I already had an old Professional at which the lamp was defective defakto the source of all evil. New switch was pure and good. Does' s also cheap at EspressoXXL MFG Angelo
Re: La Pavoni Professional broken? Hi even if current arrives at the heater does not mean long, that they also heats. Have you measured by the heating? 1 Disconnect the cable and measure the resistance between the two terminals with a multimeter ... Previous naturally pull out the mains plug! "Fritzz"
Re: La Pavoni Professional broken? Thus, a new reset thermal fuse have now installed yesterday and lo and behold, it worked. But now das. .. When I wanted to draw a morning coffee today, nothing happened again, or haute me a short time later the fuse with wild sparks the plug out. What's going on now?
