Are we in the less healthy corner on the food chain, there are a number of other dining experiences that are worth taking. They are the ones you get at the smaller (the Danes) known places but in particular is worth taking (and sometimes run after).
Authentic pit barbecue in Texas is by far one of the best barbecue food you can get, putting every Danish Weber grill Bill to the wall. I've been 3 is the better known places: Kreuz Market and The Salt Lick and Smitty's Market.
On my road trip in the Pacific Northwest were set aside time to get more food experiences than normal home. This meant I got Man Cakes in Portland, baccarat crystal OR, 1 pound burgers in Boise, ID and Pitchfork Steak Fondue in Medora, ND.
I have tried to bring a varied range, but in the end it is a matter baccarat crystal of opinion, what most are. I go far outside Wendy's and Taco Bell, it's not a bit better than McDonalds ... I also go well out of it. There is no reason to eat halvdaarligt fast food when you can easily get something really laekkert and well.
