My results came through for TMA01 of M363 incredibly quick, my marker was either really bored, or I’m his only student! I scored 92% which was unexpected, I thought I sucked at theory cambro – maybe not! The majority of dropped marks were on the Activity Diagram (Question 3) for incorrectly using decision triangles. I liked the pretty diamonds so I looked for excuses to draw them! I must admit I was expecting a much lower score but hi-ho I won’t complain at that. I ‘thundered’ through Units 5 & cambro 6 and seem to be moving into familiar territory – class and object models, constraints and sequence diagrams. I took the sensible approach this time and completed the relevant TMA02 questions as I worked through the Units.
I’m travelling upto Scotland this week to do some work, just been installing a linux distro onto my USB key and copying some files I need across. I find it much easier to boot into my own operating system as it’s not plagued with spyware and software like the majority of other computer users. Actually I’m not sure users is the appropriate word in this context, maybe abusers is better suited. Royal Ascot is creeping cambro up. I had to get my suit adjusted at a tailors because it was too big – losing cambro weight does have it’s downsides. I’ve signed up for a seminar hosted by FDM Group which helps newly graduated students get onto the career ladder. Things seem to be moving really slowly in work so I’m starting to explore other options. I’ve got a nice little mini-break to look forward to towards the end of the month with my partner cambro in crime! Happy times!
