On Wednesday, 9 October 2013 in the premises of the Youth Center NPP members intergenerational wine corks initiatives Bridge organized a round table. These are attended by Tatjana Novak Metelko employed at the Centre for Social Work, Plant, Nusa priest, director of the Home for the Elderly Plant, as well as some representatives of the elderly. Together, they found that older people in our community in particular need companionship and conversation with a fellow human being. Big problems they are also physically demanding tasks that occur mainly in the late autumn or winter, such as cleaning and fetch firewood and throwing snow. Thus, the members of the initiative decided that, in addition wine corks to assisting and facilitating activities of daily living and socializing with older, organized collective action with more volunteers and also visit several of the needy at the same time. Older people are shown an interest in a book club, where we could be talking about the book that we all read, as well as foreign language course.
To all together as far as possible carried out need many volunteers. Will try to connect with volunteers who are already working in the Centre for Social Work and Home for the elderly, but also need new young people who would like to help. Their next project is to organize a New Year's dance in the house of the elderly, which is to invite all the residents in the home, as well as those older people who do not live in the home.
